Refund Policy

Refund Eligibility
You are entitled to a full refund if:
- Item was not delivered within the estimated timeframe
- Item doesn't match the listing description
- Item is damaged or defective upon arrival
- Wrong item was sent by the seller
- Order was canceled before shipping
Refund Methods
Refunds are processed to your original payment method:
- PayPal payments: Refunded to your PayPal account
- Credit/Debit cards: Refunded to the original card
- Processing time: 3-5 business days after approval
- You'll receive email confirmation when refund is initiated
Full vs Partial Refunds
Full Refunds Include:
- Full item price
- Taxes paid
- Original shipping costs (if item was defective/wrong)
Partial Refunds Apply When:
- Item shows signs of use not caused by defect
- Original packaging is missing or damaged
- Accessories or parts are missing
- Return is made outside the standard return window
Non-Refundable Fees
The following are non-refundable:
- Seller listing fees ($0.20 per listing)
- Seller commission fees (15% on completed sales)
- Advertising fees ($5 or $25 ads)
- Original shipping costs (unless seller error)
- Return shipping costs (unless seller error)
Refund Timeline
Standard refund processing:
- Return request submitted by buyer
- Seller approves return (within 2 business days)
- Buyer ships item back with tracking
- Seller receives and inspects return (2 business days)
- Seller approves refund
- eBidMart processes refund (1 business day)
- Payment provider processes refund (3-5 business days)
- Total time: 7-14 business days from return approval
Auction Refunds
Auction purchases follow the same refund policy as fixed-price items. Winning bidders cannot receive refunds for buyer's remorse - bids are binding commitments.
Best Offer Refunds
Accepted offers are treated as completed sales and follow standard refund policies. Once you accept an offer, the purchase is binding.
Digital Content Refunds
Refunds for digital content (movies, games):
- Available within 24 hours of purchase if content not accessed
- Not available after download or streaming begins
- Technical issues may warrant exception - contact support
- Free content is not eligible for refunds
JML Collection Refunds
JML Collection items follow special refund terms:
- Payment held in escrow until delivery confirmed
- Released to JML 2 days after delivery
- 10-day refund window from delivery
- Some custom items marked "no returns"
Damaged Items
If you receive a damaged item:
- Take photos of damage and packaging
- Report within 48 hours of delivery
- Do not discard packaging until resolved
- Full refund provided without return required (in most cases)
Delayed Refunds
If you haven't received your refund after the expected timeframe:
- Check your PayPal account or bank statement
- Contact your payment provider - processing can take time
- Contact eBidMart support if still not received after 14 days
Refund Disputes
If a seller refuses a valid refund request:
- Escalate through buyer dashboard
- Provide evidence (photos, messages, tracking)
- eBidMart support will review within 2 business days
- Decision is binding on both parties
